Plastic Ralu Ring
Plastic Ralu Ring is a high-performance random packing widely used in mass transfer applications such as absorption, scrubbing, and stripping. Made from durable thermoplastic materials like PP, PE, PVC, PVDF, or PTFE, it offers excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. With its unique open structure, the Ralu Ring ensures low pressure drop, high void ratio, and efficient gas-liquid contact, making it ideal for chemical, petrochemical, and environmental protection industries.
Plastic Ralu Ring is an advanced form of random packing, evolved from the traditional Pall Ring and enhanced with a modified open-ring design to achieve lower pressure drop and reduced material usage while maintaining high mass transfer efficiency. Its structure promotes improved gas‑liquid contact and enhanced separation performance, and when retrofitted in existing columns, it can reduce operating costs or allow lower bed height to maintain efficiency.
Features
- Improved void ratio and low pressure drop – Offers higher capacity and more efficient flow compared to ceramic or conventional Pall Rings.
- High liquid hold‑up and extended residence time – Enhances absorption especially in slower chemical reactions.
- Uniform gas-liquid distribution – Less sensitive to the quality of liquid/vapor distribution; compatible with standard distributors.
- Strong mechanical integrity – The ring-and-spoke design ensures durability, suitable even for deep packed beds.
- Wide chemical compatibility & thermal tolerance – Suitable for use under high temperatures (up to ~280 °C, depending on material) and resistant to chemical corrosion.
