The ceramic Berl saddle is an upgraded version of the ceramic arc saddle, offering improved fluid distribution, lower resistance, and reduced pressure on the tower’s inner wall compared to ring packing. It is highly resistant to acids (excluding hydrofluoric acid) and solvents, as well as extreme temperatures, making it suitable for various applications.

The ceramic Berl Saddle is one of the earliest saddle-shaped packing types. When stacked in the tower, they form an arc airway chain structure that promotes uniform gas-liquid flow while reducing resistance.
With excellent resistance to acids (excluding hydrofluoric acid) and heat, ceramic Berl Saddles can withstand corrosion from various inorganic and organic acids and solvents. They are widely used in dry towers, absorbing towers, cooling towers, scrubbing towers, and activator towers across industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, coal gas, and oxygen production.

Application

Ceramic Berl saddle ring are interlocking in the tower and form arc air channel.
