With high porosity, low pressure drop, minimal mass unit height, elevated flooding point, and effective gas-liquid contact, Plastic Beta Ring exhibits small specific gravity and boasts high heat and mass transfer efficiency. O enchimento de torre em plástico é fabricado a partir de plásticos conhecidos pela sua resistência ao calor e à corrosão química. Estes plásticos incluem o polietileno (PE), polipropileno (PP), polipropileno reforçado (RPP), cloreto de polivinilo (PVC), cloreto de polivinilo clorado (CPVC), fluoreto de polivinilideno (PVDF) e politetrafluoroetileno (PTFE). O intervalo de temperatura de funcionamento destes materiais varia entre os 60 graus Celsius e os 280 graus Celsius.
