Plastic Cascade Ring (CMR), or Plastic Cascade Mini Ring, features a height that is 1/2 or 1/3 of the cascade ring’s diameter, with an added cone-shaped flange at one edge. This modification reduces resistance as air passes through the bed layer, enhancing voidage. The height-to-diameter ratio of the Plastic Cascade Ring packing is 0.5, only half that of the well-known Plastic Pall Ring. Consequently, Plastic Cascade Rings can be installed in towers with a more structured orientation, optimizing their inner surface efficiency. Constructed from heat-resistant and chemically corrosion-resistant plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chloridized polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), the Plastic Intalox Saddle boasts features including significant void space, minimal pressure drop, low mass-transfer unit height, elevated flooding point, uniform gas-liquid contact, reduced specific gravity, and heightened mass transfer efficiency. Its application temperature in various media ranges from 60 to 280℃.
